Slovak Ancestry Search is a free tool from ZIP Citizenship that helps people discover their Slovak roots. It is powered by our genealogical engine, Krtko (pronounced Krrt-ko) —the Slovak word for “little mole”. Just as a mole digs beneath the surface, Krtko searches through carefully curated historical records to uncover forgotten family connections and trace your ancestors’ journeys. The beta version already includes approximately 190,000 immigrant records from various sources, with many more historical collections to come.
